("IMC") At IMC, we know how our customers and visitors like you value your privacy, and we have created this privacy policy to ensure that you understand our policies and procedures, what personal information you must provide if you wish to use our website and, ultimately, just how we use such personal information.
IMC collects two types of information from users of this website and the services offered on this website (collectively, the "Site"): personal information described below, and non-personal information such as information about traffic patterns on IMC (for example, how many users log on to IMC on a daily basis).
Personal InformationTo interact on certain portions of the Site, such as the Retail sections (where users can order appliances through the Site from our manufacturing/distributing partners), we require you to register and select a screen name. To register, you will be required to submit some personal data, including but not limited to, your name, telephone number, postal address and email address. When you voluntarily respond to our email messages, newsletters or other promotional features, we may ask you for other personal information, such as your consumer and product preferences.
In addition, when you order a product or service through the Retail sections of the Site, we will ask you for your name, address and email address and/or other personal information or credit card information in order to process your request.
How We Use Your Personal InformationIMC uses the information collected, including personal identifiable information, for a variety of purposes. For example, we use your information to better understand your needs and provide you with better products and services. In addition, IMC may share some or all of your personal information with certain third parties with whom we do business (including, for example, our appliance manufacturer and distributor partners), so that such third parties can use the information for market research or other purposes, or contact you regarding products, services, offers, or other information we think you will find valuable.

Non-Personal DataIn some cases, we may collect non-personal information. Examples of this type of information include the type of internet browser you are using, the type of computer operating system application software, and peripherals you are using and the domain name of the web site from which you linked to our Site. We use your information on an aggregated basis to do such things as operate our Site, enhance our Site and sell and deliver advertising. Contact information from an order form may be used to fulfill orders, to get in touch with you when necessary regarding your order and for other purposes, such as to provide information about our company to you. Credit card information that is collected is used to process your request for products and services, and will not be shared with third parties who are not involved with the transaction. When credit card information is transmitted, we use SSL (secure socket layer) 128 bit encryption.

Reviewing or changing your informationIn order to ensure that the information we maintain is accurate, IMC gives users the option to change or modify their information previously provided. SecurityAs discussed above, we work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 128 bit encryption software, which encrypts information you input. All information is stored on our servers in a secure location. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your account and to your computer. Protection for ChildrenThis Site is not intended for users under the age of 18. Furthermore, we have no intention of collecting personally identifiable information from children (i.e., individuals under the age of 13).
